My Practice
As a certified yoga and chi-gong teacher, herbalist, and devoted meditator, I offer a holistic session that is informative, therapeutic, and relaxing. My practice is a devotion to listening to the body and acknowledging all that it has to teach. In my work, I hold space to be present in our bodies in connection with ourselves and each other. Each session is a safe space for you to be supported to release physical, emotional, and energetic tension. I listen to you and your body in order to weave a massage that is full of light, love, and whatever is needed in that moment.
Your Experience
To receive is a practice of gratitude. You are invited to practice receiving, to listen to your body, and to trust the wisdom it offers you. This is the time to be present in your body and connect with yourself to release any tension or stagnant muscles and emotions that are ready to change. I hope that our sessions provide a safe space for you to practice surrendering and releasing whatever it is that is not serving you.
The Massage
I weave together Eastern and Western techniques while listening to the body with an intuitive touch. Balancing deep tissue and trigger point therapy with more subtle, energetic practices allows for release of strained muscles as well as space for you to relax into your body. Each session is a reflection of what you desire in that moment, whether that is a deep tissue, aroma-acupressure, or Esalen massage. Each of our massage therapy sessions strives to offer just what is needed in that moment to bring your mind and body into balance.

Therapeutic Modalities
Cupping Therapy
Suction cups are ancient tools used originally in eastern bodywork. They are placed or moved across the body to help massage and release muscles, energy, blood, and lymphatic fluid. The suction action of the cups helps increase blood and lymphatic circulation which supports a healthy immune system and helps move stagnancy in muscles and joints. I will move silicon cups over the body as well as placing them in specific locations. You can learn more and purchase your own cups with my favorite high quality cupping company: Lure.
Cupping can help with:
circulating blood
lymphatic flow - encourages detox
releasing scar tissue and adhesions
cellulite and stretch marks
aid digestion
muscle and joint pain
Aromatherapy
Essential oils are often included in sessions and sometimes are applied to specific acupressure points in a practice called aroma-acupressure. By weaving together acupressure and plant medicine the points and oil support each other by enhancing and directing each other's properties. I source only the highest quality essential oils from companies such as Young Living and DoTerra.
Aromatherapy can help with:
immune system support
neck & shoulder tension
PMS & other women’s conditions
insomnia & grounding
mental clarity
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage stimulates the lymph system which is a system of vessels and lymph nodes that helps regulate the immune system, calm the nervous system, and transport fluid and waste through the body. This massage modality is slow, gently, and deeply relaxing to the nervous systems. I trained with the Dr. Vodder School International of Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Here are videos from the Dr. Vodder School about MLD and indications for MLD.
MLD can help with:
immune system support

Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy is a subtle practice of deep listening to the body and inviting the body into balance by releasing tension in the cranial area, spine, and sacrum. It is often experienced as a deep joint meditation. My training is with the Upledger Institute and here are their FAQs.
CST can help with:
calm the nervous system
release trauma from the body
concussions
Chi Neitsang (Abdominal Massage)
Chi Neitsang is traditional Chinese abdominal massage that addresses the body from the core - the abdominal area. I have trained with Gilles Marin in the Bay Area as well as in Thailand with Pi Jem. Here is an introduction to Chi Neitsang from Gilles Marin.
